Birchwood Wellness Center



 There is a Wellness Center
on site,
under the direction of
Birchwood's professional staff.
 

 


The Wellness Center specializes in the managing and prevention of Diabetes, Arthritis, Hypertension, Obesity, Hearing Impairment, Heart Conditions, Orthopedic Impairment, Visual Impairment, along with a focus on proper nutrition and exercise therapy.  Many doctors of all specialties regularly visit Birchwood.


Our in-house physician is 
Dr. Paul Leva.
 
Our Physical Rehabilitation services and state of the art rehabilitation gym is under the direction of Steven DeSousa and East Northport Physical Therapy.

 

Some other assisted living providers separate their personal care services from their room, food and ancillary fees.  Birchwood's fees are inclusive and is licensed and approved by the Department of Health to provide a comprehensive care plan for each resident.  Birchwood feels that all parts of the residents life should be woven together.  A monthly fee includes the base services listed.
