There are many types of living environments for seniors. Many people have heard the term nursing home.  This specialized service provides for 24 hour nursing and chronic care needs, but there is a difference between aging and disease... between frail and being sick.  An assisted living community may be a better alternative for many seniors.  Here are many types and kinds of facilities.  There are licensed and unlicensed facilities and those who provide more for the "well" senior versus facilities that regularly offer more care.  Prices also greatly vary.  Many facilities have hidden costs and some are all inclusive.
